The VA Group is looking for a sharp, self-driven Al Engineer to lead the development of our next generation of Al-powered tools. You'll be at the center of the product development process, bridging the gap between intelligent data and compelling user experiences. This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about building, prototyping fast, and working across the full stack to bring innovative Al products to life.

What You'll Do

• Architect and build the core features for our Al-powered tools, from intelligent back-end logic to user-facing front-end interfaces.
• Design and maintain robust data scraping pipelines that power our applications.
• Drive product development by collaborating closely with the founder to rapidly iterate on new features and product ideas.
• Experiment with and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance performance and create novel features.
• Contribute to the full stack, using modern web technologies to integrate Al models and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Conduct research to push the boundaries of our tools, improving the accuracy and performance of our machine learning systems.

Who We're Looking For

• Practical experience in software development, with a focus on building Al-driven applications.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep familiarity with Al/ML frameworks such as OpenAl, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with web frameworks like Next.js, React, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with scraping tools like Playwright, Puppeteer, BeautifulSoup, or Scrapy.
• Bonus points for a strong portfolio of personal projects or experience with vector databases, LLM fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
• A bias for action, a desire to learn quickly, and excellent communication skills.
